Shadow Creek Golf Course

ADDRESS: 3 Shadow Creek Dr, North Las Vegas, NV 89081
PHONE: (702) 399-7111

Las Vegas is the land of make-believe, where tourists can pretend that they’re floating down the canals of Venice and golfers can feel as if they’ve left behind the desert for a waterfall-bedazzled Shangri-la. Bankrolled by the casino magnate Steve Wynn, Tom Fazio pulled off a $40-million feat of engineering, busting out the bulldozers and backhoes to gouge a giant footprint in a flat, arid expanse some 20 minutes from the Strip. Along the way, the architect moved a small planet’s worth of dirt and planted more than 20,000 nature pines, so that each hole stands in seclusion from the others. The result is golf as lush, green fantasy, with a soundtrack supplied by gurgling streams, and water-laden holes that make for great match-play entertainment.

Green fees are $1,250, as of 2025.
